Description This assignment guides you through thinking about the motion of charged particles in electric and magnetic fields. To start, we need a vector in 3-dimensional space (Cartesian coordinates). The 3 digits of this vector will be: zero (x-direction) and then the last 2 digits of your EMPLID (y- and z-direction). For example, if your EMPLID is XXXXX, the vector you need is (0,7,8). We will call this vector W, with components (0,Wy,Wz). For instance, in the above example, Wy=7,Wz=8.
